Priorities.

  • County Concerns.

More and more people are choosing to make Cache County their home, and we need experienced leadership to navigate the changes that growth brings. From garbage removal and water conservation to transportation, emergency services, and public safety, I bring the knowledge, vision, and experience to tackle these challenges. I’m also focused on addressing the rising cost of housing so our children can raise their families here too. With years of experience in local government, I’m committed to developing thoughtful solutions that meet the needs of our growing community.

  • Rural Cache County.

I was raised on a farm and my father is one of the few farmers left in our district. This makes me more familiar with the unique balance of property rights and keeping our rural feel. I am committed to lead on issues of land conservation and open space.

  • Planning.

With 12 years of experience in local government, I’ve learned how important it is to plan ahead. That often means making tough decisions today so our communities can see the benefits well into the future. I’m committed to bringing people together to have thoughtful conversations about long-term planning for county services like our library, fire protection, recreation, and open space. When we plan collectively, we can align our goals and work toward better, more sustainable outcomes for the entire county.

  • Public Safety.

We all want our communities to be the safest communities possible. I am grateful to our wonderful Law Enforcement Officers and First Responders. I have worked to fully fund our law enforcement to ensure they have the staffing and tools necessary to keep us safe. Public Safety makes up nearly half of our County budget, and I stand by my commitment to provide them the training, staff, and resources they need.
